Longtail dwarf goby (Knipowitschia longecaudata) is a species of fish in the Gobiidae family. Distributed in the Black Sea, Sea of Azov, and the Caspian Sea.
Common in the brackish water, on the sandy bottom or in foulings. Prefers the water temperature of 4-20 °C. Up to 5 cm long. Dorsal fin has 6–8 hard and 7–9 soft rows, in the anal fin 1 hard and 8–9 soft rows. Feeding on small invertebrates.
